Addition progress 11/10 – 11/11, painting, doors, deck, tile
It’s really coming together now. We could actually be done by Thanksgiving, two weeks early on an already accelerated schedule!!! That gives more time to clean, prepare, move in, and even enjoy the new house before master Ben arrives.
- We have two toilets and a sink on OUR front porch
- The deck, more done
- Supplementary cabinets being assembled – those match our originals
- Kitchen into hallway, electric had to be redone due to passage widening
- Smoothing where the shelves once were
- Accent wall of sorts in the study
- Electric redone in dining room due to passage widening, old wiring replaced too
- Prior wiring there was cloth and a potential fire hazard
- New bead board in powder room, wider than the traditional style
- Our original cabinets are not expensive, but they were worth saving for now
- Some more work on the deck, not much
- Only floors and paint remains
- Love the 100+ year old stained glass among all new stuff
- Door will swing from other side actually, door is original from downstairs
- Ready for the floors on Monday
