Coming together now. We had a slight delay because the toilets we ordered each were two piece that didn’t match each other. Home Depot substituted a different model number for one piece and the plumber arrived to put them in but could not. We were able to get a substitute off the shelf on Sunday. [...]
Finishing touches now, but it limits where I can go and photograph things due to the flooring stain. It’s getting chilly out, but we’re still staining the clapboard and deck so that it won’t gray over due to exposure to the elements.
It’s really coming together now. We could actually be done by Thanksgiving, two weeks early on an already accelerated schedule!!! That gives more time to clean, prepare, move in, and even enjoy the new house before master Ben arrives.
We went back and forth about losing our hallway/pantry shelves. In order to trim the entrances, the shelves would have to go and I wasn’t happy about it.
