More cute photos – 8 weeks!

Visit with Grandma

Tummy time

Back in olden days (about fifteen years ago), all babies were sleeping on their tummies.  When a direct correlation was found between tummy sleeping babies and SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), pediatricians started recommending that all babies sleep on their backs.  As this practice became more widespread, the incidence of SIDS direcreased proportionately.

Latest pediatrician visit at 5 1/2 weeks old

Luke had his one month checkup (actually 5 1/2 weeks) and passed with flying colors.  I did not attend, but the doctor did some strength tests to see about whether he had good head control and leg strength and he passed all with flying colors!
Elizabeth said he got his second hepatitis shot and was smiling [...]
