A little sunshine today.

The doc checked Luke’s heart and brain. All four chambers of his heart looked good and blood flow in his brain also looked excellent. He (different doc) determined that Luke looked healthy enough to make his debut today if he had to. That’s some great news but kinda freakin’ scary. We have alot of work to do!

He also said that a natural birth is a strong possibility. We don’t have the full ‘thumbs up’ just yet, but he felt that it looked likely. We’ll have another ultrasound in a month and that will basically determine the final plan. Of course, that’s at 37/38 weeks so I would HOPE they know at that point!!!

The doc also said Luke is closer to 34 weeks (”in the 34th week”) than 33, as we suspected. We had evidence that ovulation occurred early and so we felt we were about 5 days ahead of estimates.

Finally, we have our first birthing class on Wednesday. 2 1/2 hours!
