We were treated to an absolutely beautiful Sunday afternoon on the Chicago river. It was pretty darn windy but otherwise a wonderful day. Special thanks to Kim and Nick for organizing a wonderful day with fantastic food (Nick was valedictorian at CIA).
We had our infant/child CPR class which also touched on using a child safety seat, etc. Oddly, the instructor told us that just hours before, they were suspending their safety seat certification program. Well, we’ve now completed six parenting classes with one more to go. All were at Northwestern and two (including a three-session one) were with the same teacher, whom I highly recommend. A little sunshine today. The doc checked Luke’s heart and brain. All four chambers of his heart looked good and blood flow in his brain also looked excellent.
