Baby shower!

We were treated to an absolutely beautiful Sunday afternoon on the Chicago river.  It was pretty darn windy but otherwise a wonderful day.  Special thanks to Kim and Nick for organizing a wonderful day with fantastic food (Nick was valedictorian at CIA).

Last class

We had our infant/child CPR class which also touched on using a child safety seat, etc.  Oddly, the instructor told us that just hours before, they were suspending their safety seat certification program.  In other words, Northwestern requires that a seat installation be certified before departing with a baby but the program run by the [...]

Classes

Well, we’ve now completed six parenting classes with one more to go. All were at Northwestern and two (including a three-session one) were with the same teacher, whom I highly recommend. Appointment goes well, Luke ahead of schedule!

A little sunshine today. The doc checked Luke’s heart and brain. All four chambers of his heart looked good and blood flow in his brain also looked excellent.
