Since we’re in the once-a-month pattern right now, Elizabeth had a doctors appointment last Wednesday.  It was basically a checkup and also there were a few things they were looking at.  She took a diabetes test and was told that no news is good news, in other words, if she doesn’t get a call she’s fine.  Thus far, there has been no call and I doubt there would be one, despite the fact that I whip up a batch of cc cookies on occasion.

As I wrote previously, there is a possibility of a C Section requirement.  It has to do with the positioning of certain things and this appointment unfortunately confirmed that nothing had changed for the positive.  However, there is still hope as  the doctor (not Dr. Clinton this time) stated that the lower uterus does most of its growth later.  So we wait until next month to see if anything has changed.

Elizabeth really, really wants to do a natural birth and I would like that too.  Her main concern is that she worries her body will not know it has given birth and she thinks things might go awry.  I don’t really know about that — I haven’t been reading up on C-Sections but I certainly will if things must go in that direction.  There are obvious advantages, like not having the pain of birth and knowing exactly when the baby will be born.  We’ll wait and see.

I’m posting that latest ultrasound pictures.  By the way, the reason we continue to have so many of these pics is because of the above issue.  Typically, an insurance company would NOT be paying for it otherwise.  Clearly from the photos, he’s looking more and more like a little baby.  Ahhhhhhh.
